05 PRINTMAKING & FINE ART

“Rainbow” trinket collage, 2024
I have developed a distinct illustration style over the years and have been taking private commission work for over 8 years. I consider my work to be multidisciplinary as I use many mediums. Some of my favorites include: relief printing, linoleum and woodblock carving, watercolor, good ol’ pen & paper, miniatures, and collage.
I’m particularly interested in trinkets, found objects, and otherwise broken, discarded, or ignored pieces of ephemera. My most prized posessions are found lodged in sidewalk cracks and buried in leaves. Some of my greatest joys come from spotting a glistening object in a patch of fresh-cut grass; perhaps someone’s singular lost earring or even a half-rusted paperclip. I collect these pieces of life and take them to an Epson Expression 13000XL Large Flatbed Scanner where I arrange and document them.
